The Direct_PDU™ power strip is for IT administrators who need a simple and cost-effective way to remotely manage the power requirements of their IT infrastructure.
The Direct_PDU power strips are designed for small to midsized businesses and have an on-board web interface for direct access over any IP network. Other features include individual power on/off control, power consumption metering and overload protection. The power strip has built-in alarms to notify the administrator when user-defined thresholds are reached via simple network management protocol (SNMP) traps and e-mail notification. The Direct_PDU power strip is available in 8- and 16-port vertical mount (0U) and 8-port horizontal mount (1U) units.

- Built-In On-Board Web Interface for Management – Convenient screen for easy management of outlets and configuration of SNMP and e-mail alerts
- Independent Control of Each Power Port – Ability to remotely power on/off unresponsive servers and other IT equipment
- Current Meter and Over Current Alarm – Displays the power consumption of the power strip and alerts if user-defined thresholds are exceeded
- SNMP and E-mail Notification – Supports SNMP and provides management information bases (MIB) for network management systems; sends e-mails and trap information when user-defined power consumption thresholds are met
- Power-On Sequence – Prevents current overload by turning on the power strip outlets in sequence when connected to a power source
- Built-In Circuit Breaker – Provides protection to the attached devices from power source overloads
- LED on Each Port for Visual Status – Visual confirmation that each port is powered on or off
