Network World IT Roadmap Series to Highlight Avocent Customer Success Stories Throughout 2008

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Feb. 19, 2008 – Avocent Corporation (Nasdaq: AVCT), a leader in IT infrastructure management solutions, today announced its customer success stories will be highlighted during the Network World IT Roadmap series to be held in eight U.S. cities during 2008. IT Roadmap is focused on the top issues facing data centers and IT infrastructure today.

The events will include data center customer challenges along with how those challenges were solved and the results gained after implementing Avocent technology.  For example, one Avocent customer with global operations has seen a 20-percent increase in productivity with a 35-percent decrease in response time for server issues and requests.
